Our History
F&G Delivery Ltd. was founded in 1958 by Walter Ford and Ken Gibson, hence the name F&G. They started the company in Burnaby B.C. to service the local business community’s trucking needs.
In the 1980’s Walter and Ken sold the company to their sons, Lloyd Ford and Brian Gibson. Also during this time they moved the office to its current location in Port Kells, Surrey.
F&G Delivery started as a local delivery service with pickup trucks and has now grown into the Lower Mainland’s primer truck and crane transportation company. We have now three divisions: Crane, Tractor Trailer and General Freight.
We are a proud union company and have been since our inception. As part of the Teamsters and Operating Engineers unions we can access any port or union job site.
Our drivers are all owner operators. What that means to you is that the drivers take care of their equipment and your product as a matter of personal pride.
As the most experienced crane and trucking company in the lower mainland you can be assured that we know how to do any job correctly and safely. You can see this in the experience of 17 years in our crane operators and in our dispatch team who have decades of experience each.
We have a very diverse and yet specialized fleet. If you don’t know how to get a job done we offer site checks with one of our knowledgeable sales staff. And chances are we have done it before and have the perfect crane or truck for the job.
